The Platform

Agentic workflows for healthcare sales.

Machine-learning prioritization. Autonomous research. Natural-language targeting. Oystercatcher replaces the hours of manual work between finding a lead and being ready to sell to them.

01  /  Natural-language targeting

Plain English in.
Structured criteria out.

Describe your ideal customer in plain English: “Orthopedic surgeons in high-cost markets who own their practice, do a high volume of joint replacements, and adopt new technology like robotics early.” Seconds later, Oystercatcher returns a ranked list of providers who match — every criterion resolved, no taxonomy chart in sight. The translation layer is our own, tuned on healthcare data general-purpose search hasn't seen.

  • +Plain English input — no taxonomy, no query builders
  • +Specialty, geography, practice type, procedure volume, and behavioral signals — all resolved
  • +A ranked, ready-to-work list on the other side
  • +Proprietary matching layer, tuned on healthcare data
02  /  Machine-learning prioritization

Who to call next,
ranked and explained.

Every provider receives a 0–100 composite score across three dimensions: Filter Match (how well they match your ICP), Clinical Fit (buying signals like technology adoption and practice growth), and Accessibility (contactability and decision-making authority). But scoring is just the start. Models learn from your team's recorded outcomes — which leads convert, which deals close — so prioritization reflects what actually predicts closed deals for your product, not just in general. The result is a queue that gets more accurate the more your team sells. The full scoring methodology — including what the score deliberately does not claim — is public.

  • +Models learn from your team's recorded outcomes
  • +Hot / Warm / Cool / Cold tier labels with explainable breakdowns
  • +Evidence-capped tiers: a lead the evidence can’t support is never labeled Hot
  • +Adjustable dimension weights for different campaigns
  • +Prioritization improves continuously — not a static score
03  /  Agentic Research

The Googling,
autonomous.

This is the work your reps are doing manually today: Googling every prospect, reading publications, scanning LinkedIn, checking news, and taking notes — just to be prepared for a single call. Oystercatcher does this autonomously on-demand for any provider in your pipeline. Agents gather, synthesize, and cite publications, clinical trial involvement, speaking engagements, technology adoption signals, and practice news. The output isn't raw data — it's structured context and talking points your reps can use immediately. See a complete example dossier.

  • +Replaces hours of manual pre-call research per prospect
  • +Publications, clinical trials, news, and conference appearances
  • +Technology adoption and buying signals detected automatically
  • +Structured talking points ready for outreach
  • +Research cross-check: when a completed dossier contradicts a lead’s score, the lead carries a visible “Research disagrees” flag — in the app, in exports, and to your AI assistant
04  /  Medicare & CMS data

Federal data,
linked to every NPI.

Enrich every lead with data from the CMS Medicare Physician & Other Practitioners dataset. See prescribing volume, Medicare participation status, procedure utilization, and quality metrics — all linked via NPI.

  • +Part B service utilization
  • +Part D prescribing patterns
  • +Medicare participation status
  • +MIPS quality performance data
05  /  Industry-relationship intelligence

Open Payments,
made searchable.

Every federal Sunshine Act payment record, linked to the provider it was paid to — speaker fees, consulting, research funding, royalties, food & beverage — rolled up by manufacturer and payment type across a five-year history. Engagement flags show who is an active speaker, consultant, principal investigator, or practice owner. And because it's folded into the same search index as everything else, you can ask for it in plain English: “rheumatologists with heavy pharma speaker relationships.”

  • +Payment-level CMS Open Payments (Sunshine Act) data, five-year history
  • +Roll-ups by manufacturer and by nature of payment
  • +Engagement flags: active speaker · consulting · PI · ownership
  • +Peer benchmarks and dispute disclosures on every profile
06  /  Evidence-graded contact data

Every contact point,
cited and graded.

A phone number without provenance is a guess. Oystercatcher's research agents canonicalize every contact point — phones, emails, fax, address, website — with a reach label (direct, office, switchboard, mobile), a confidence grade, and the source it was verified against. When sources disagree, the record says so. And providers who opt out are suppressed everywhere, automatically.

  • +Reach labels: direct · office · switchboard · scheduling · mobile
  • +Confidence grades with per-field source citations
  • +Audit verdicts when sources conflict — never silent guesses
  • +Provider opt-out honored across every view and export
07  /  Pipeline & deal attribution

Where revenue
actually came from.

See exactly how your pipeline is performing and where revenue is coming from. Oystercatcher tracks every lead from discovery through close, with stage-by-stage conversion analytics, velocity metrics, and deal attribution. Every plan gets full pipeline analytics and revenue reporting — including the split between deals Oystercatcher sourced and deals it influenced, computed from the deals your team tracks. CRM sync — coming to Growth and Enterprise — will add automatic deal ingestion, so that reporting stays current without anyone updating it by hand.

  • +Stage-by-stage conversion funnel with velocity metrics
  • +Sourced vs. influenced attribution, plus first- and last-touch models
  • +Revenue tracking by campaign and rep, against the prior period
  • +Deal management with loss reason and competitor tracking
08  /  Sales team management

Built for the
multi-rep team.

Define territories by geography or specialty, assign lead ownership, and track pipeline stages. Salesforce sync is coming to Growth and Enterprise, with HubSpot to follow.

  • +Territory-based lead routing
  • +Lead ownership & capacity limits
  • +Salesforce sync coming soon · HubSpot to follow
  • +Role-based access control
09  /  MCP & API

Your AI can
drive it.

Horizontal sales databases know companies; Oystercatcher knows clinicians — and it works wherever your AI assistant already does. Oystercatcher ships a full Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so your team's AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client — can run the entire workflow: search providers in plain English, build and score campaigns, kick off research, and export leads. Connections are authorized per user with OAuth consent, and admins govern the whole surface — turn AI-app access on or off org-wide, set a minimum role, and review a full audit log of every call. AI Connections is available on all paid plans and the free trial; a versioned REST API is available on Enterprise. Setup takes about two minutes — see the connector page for per-client steps.

  • +MCP server on all paid plans and the free trial, with the full workflow: search · campaigns · scoring · research · exports
  • +Per-user OAuth consent — no shared credentials
  • +Org-level admin policy: enable/disable, minimum role, full audit log
  • +REST API with scoped keys, IP allowlists, and key rolling (Enterprise)
